Any applicant wishing to join the Real Club de Golf Las Brisas is requested to purchase a golf share of the society Campogolf, S.A.

The price of the golf share varies, depending on the law of supply and demand that sets the market value. The price ranged from 60.000€ to 90.000€ during the last years. The Club disposes of no golf shares; therefore they have to be acquired at the open market from a person or a member wishing to sell.

Real Club de Golf Las Brisas disposes of a share department in charge of helping potential buyers/sellers with the legal steps required to change the ownership of golf shares.

The purchase and sale procedure has to be legalised by a public notary and then the transaction has to be recorded on the official share book of Campogolf, S.A.

Every applicant wishing to join the club must be nominated by two voting members. Nominations for new members shall be posted on the bulletin board of the club for at least fifteen days prior to the next meeting of the Executive Committee giving the names of the nominating members and the names of any other club of which the applicant is a member, the applicant’s current handicap, photocopy of the share certificate, two passport photographs and photocopy of the identification card or passport.

The Executive Committee by simple majority decide on the admission of such applicant.

New applications for membership which have been accepted by the Executive Committee shall only be considered valid after the following requirements have been met: payment of the admission fee of 20.000€ for 2005 and payment of the annual fee of 1.200€ for 2005.

It is important to check with the share department at the club whether there are any outstanding fees and other debts associated with the previous owner of the share, in order to save membership applicants not to be approved.
